On June 8th the QSSI travelled to Madrid for the Presentation of the App Quizstory: Spanish Friendship and the set of posters about the Spanish contribution to the American Revolution to the network of public and charter schools of the Autonomous Region of Madrid (Comunidad de Madrid)
The presentation took place at the ISMIE (Instituto Superior Madrileño de Innovación Educativa) where principals of schools, teachers, students and authorities attended the presentation by Begonia Santos, Executive Director of the QSSI, of Quizstory: Spanish Friendship and the set of posters followed by the intervention of Carmen Iglesias, Director of the Royal Academy of History.
At the same time, the students from 3º and 4º de Educación Secundaria (10th and 11th grade) who were invited to the event, tested the app, used the teacher guide, read the captions in the posters and learned about this historical period. This event represents a pre-launch of a broader program with the Comunidad de Madrid that will be presented in September along with an academic competition to encourage the use of the resources.
