March in the NYC July 4th Parade

The Queen Sofía Spanish Institute invites you to join the America&Spain250 group as we march for the first time in New York City’s Independence Day Parade on July 4th in Lower Manhattan.

This year’s parade is especially meaningful as the United States begins commemorating its 250th anniversary. Our group will proudly represent Spain’s historical contribution to the American Revolution and the long-standing ties between Spain and the United States for the past 250 years.

Whether you are joining individually or with your family, we would be delighted to walk together through Lower Manhattan in celebration of this shared history.

  • Meeting point: Battery Park Lawn
  • Time: 12:15pm
  • Dress code: participants are encouraged to wear red and/or yellow.
  • The parade will last approximately one hour and will end at the Seaport
  • All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult for the entire duration of the parade.
